On our trip to Colorado this summer we knew we would be passing through New Mexico and spending one day in Santa Fe. We wanted to boondock near town and found a place called Caja del Rio about 20 minutes from downtown. We found this spot using compendium which is our go to for finding primitive camping spots that are safe for our family.
