Camper Inspo

We’ve had our little weekend home on wheels now for about 4 months and I feel like I have now spent enough weekends in it to make some decisions as far as how to make it not only more functional but prettier. Because we all know a pretty space makes everyone happier!

So I have pinterested my little heart out and come up with a concept that I want to share with you all! I’m going for a very cozy and lived in, boho/ southwestern, eclectic vibe! Not sure if that’s a thing, but I’m gonna make it happen.

The one thing that we are trying to keep in mind is that we do not live in our trailer full time as many people I have come across on YouTube and Pinterest do, so it’s important to keep in mind that our budget is a little different as well. This whole post will consist of images that I found to be super inspirational and at the end of this post I will share a mood board I created with some pieces that we have already bought for this project.

I’m just always amazed at the creativity (and skill) that so many people have when it comes to renovating and decorating their tiny home on wheels. It really doesn’t seem like the possibilities are endless. One little side note I have to add is what the heck happens to all the plants when the rig starts moving?? As much as I looove plants, and love what it adds to the space, this is probably not going to happen to our camper seeing as we don’t live in it. But here is what I have come up with so far:

I love the idea of having blue tones to mix in with the white. I found these Mexican blankets in San Antonio and would love to use them to recover the UGLY seating situation. I like the idea of being able to take the covers off and wash if need be. We will also be installing the subway tile in the kitchen, which should pair well with the marble look of the counter tops! I also want to bring in some warmth and texture by adding some wicker, jute or bamboo elements… Tell me in the comments what you think! And if you haven’t yet, check out our camper tour here!

I think it’s so smart you stayed in your camper for a month before making any reno or design decisions.
